Actipedia
Actipedia is an open-access, user-generated database of creative activism. It’s a place to share, read about, and comment upon experiences and examples of how activists and artists are using creative tactics and strategies to challenge power and offer visions of a better society.
Working from a designer's comps, I built Actipedia using Drupal as a CMS. With the help of custom modules I coded, the website is entirely self-managed by public users and all content is editable by anyone. A rating and reporting system prevents vandalism while a custom tagging solution keeps everything organized.
